Sustainable Living Podcast (SLP) announces the launch of Season 10, “Voices for Circular Change”, a series dedicated to real circular economy solutions, entrepreneurs who turn waste into resources, impactful initiatives, and active dialogue between authorities, industry and civil society.
The season begins with an episode built on the discussions from the first roundtable, “Romania–Sweden: Expert Exchange for a Circular Future in the Textile Industry”, held on 14 October 2025 at the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Romania and the Sustainable Living Podcast.
H.E. Anna Hällerman, Ambassador of Sweden to Romania: “What makes this initiative truly valuable is the fact that it is conceived as an exchange, not as a one-way transfer of knowledge. Romania has a textile tradition, production capacity and a growing innovation ecosystem. Sweden brings lessons from policy development, pilot projects and circular economy initiatives. Together, we can identify models that are replicable and realistic in the national context.”
“Sustainability has no borders, only shared solutions. The collaboration between Romania and Sweden helps us accelerate the shift to a circular economy in high-impact sectors such as textiles,” stated Raul Pop, State Secretary at the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests.
Season 10, “Voices for Circular Change”, continues the direction opened by this roundtable and brings to the public entrepreneurs who turn waste into resources, start-ups and circular business models, social initiatives involving vulnerable communities in the economy, and organisations that reduce environmental impact through innovation and technology. The season is built on two complementary directions: working meetings at the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests dedicated to Romania–Sweden knowledge exchange, and podcast episodes focusing on Romanian circular solutions – entrepreneurs, companies, projects and local stories that show circular economy already happening in practice.
